A606-4 COLD ROLLED STEEL

ASTM A606-4 is a high strength, low alloy specification with improved atmospheric corrosion properties.. A606-4 contains additional alloying elements and provides a level of corrosion resistance substantially better than that of carbon steel.

Type 4 has four times the atmospheric corrosion resistance of structural carbon steel. A606-4 steel is designed for a weathered or aged look and with time will develop a copper or patina color.
